Toolbar

On the right side of the screen, there is a toolbar in the form of a side menu. The menu includes the following sections:

Search Address search on the map. After entering the address, click the icon.
Hide Menu Maximizes/minimizes the toolbar.
Import/Export Opens the form for importing or exporting data from/to Gelios system.
Locator This section allows generating an external link for monitoring selected units for the purpose of their distribution without the ability to manage.
Technical Support Opens the application form for Gelios technical support.
Documents Link to Gelios system documentation.
Chat Opens a chat window that allows corresponding with GeliosTracker iOS / Android
Settings Opens the window for monitoring settings.
Select Language Selects one of the following available languages: Russian, English, Bulgarian, Georgian, Azerbaijani, Spanish, Persian, Polish, Arabic.
Select Map Selects one of the presented maps (keys are needed for some types of cards).
Select Color Scheme Select the monitoring color scheme: dark blue, light-blue, orange, grey.
Hide Menu Minimize the monitoring menu bar to icons.

When you click on the search icon, a small field for entering the address opens. For the correct display of the required address, it is necessary to specify the address in the format “City, street, house number, building number”. To start the search after entering the data, you need to press Enter on the keyboard. Then, the map will begin to focus on the address found.

Import / Export

The import/export window provides access to the upload or download function.

You can import the following data:

  • Geozones (before import, you need to select a geozone group into which geozones will be uploaded, the import file format is KML);
  • Geopoints (before import, you need to select a geopoint group into which geopoints will be uploaded, the import file format is KML);
  • Units (before import, you need to select an unit group into which units will be uploaded; the import file format is WLP).

In the Import mode, select the file from which the data will be imported. In the Export mode, you must select the export items that will be saved to the internal format file, depending on the selected data type.

Export is carried out by:

  • Geozones (export is available both for a geozone group and individual geozones);
  • Geopoints (similar to exporting geozones);
  • Units (export of several units, groups of units);
  • Tracks (export of unit tracks/groups of units over a period of time).

In the future, the exported data (with the exception of tracks) can be imported back into the system (for example, for a new account).

Locator

The Locator function allows you to create a link to track selected units on the map quickly.

When you click the icon, the current locator table is displayed. Click Add, and two windows will appear with the option to add units and geozones. Tracking will be performed until the date specified in the field “Validity period”.

After selecting the units and specifying the validity period, click the Save button. As a result, a link with accompanying information will be displayed in the table. Using the link in the browser, you will be able to track selected units within the specified time period and quickly go to the map, which will indicate the location of the selected units.

To edit the created locator, click the Edit icon in the table, then the data attributed to the current locator will be displayed in the unit and geozone windows.

Technical Support

By clicking the icon, the form for sending a request to the company’s technical support.

Fill in the following form fields:

  • E-mail address – the address specified in the application settings is entered by default;
  • Request subject – brief description of the request;
  • Request description – complete content of the request.

If necessary, you can attach files to the letter (maximum file size is 25 MB).

Click Send to send the request.

Documents

By clicking the icon, you open the page with the documentation of this service in the browser. The documentation is represented in the form of a list table of contents in the left top part. When you click on the links, the main space is filled with information on the selected section. In the right upper part, the content of the opened page is fixed to accelerate navigation through it.

Chat

When you click on the icon, the chat form with drivers is displayed.

This form is used to communicate with the driver of the current unit. Communication is carried out through the mobile tracking application GeliosTracker (iOS / Android).

The list of units with which chat communication is allowed is shown in the left part of the form. The selected unit is highlighted in grey. To send a message, type the text and click the button . The text of the message will be displayed in the chat.

To further inform the driver of a new message, click the Send push button. By clicking the button, a Push notification will be sent to the device.

Settings

When you click on the icon, the application settings form is displayed.

To activate/deactivate settings, you must tick/mark the checkbox opposite the name of the setting. The form contains the following settings:

Time zone
[UTC + 3] Time displayed in the monitoring system is selected
Date format
16.01.2018 You can choose the following variants for displaying dates: yyyy-MM-dd, MM-dd-yyyy, dd.MM.yyyy, yyyy/MM/dd, dd MMM yyyy (y - year, М - month, d - day)
Time format
00:00 You can choose the following time display variants: HH:mm:ss, HH:mm, hh:mm:ss a, a hh:mm:ss, a hh:mm, hh:mm a (H - hour, m - minutes, s - seconds, а - AM/PM
Parameters
Switching to winter time Automatic switching of the monitoring system to winter/summer time
Do not group units on the map When the state is on, units on the map are not grouped together with indication of the total number.
Show routes on the map Show all created routes on the map.
Show the trace of the unit The trace of the unit is the distance it has covered; using which you can determine the route. The trace is displayed for a limited time.
Replace icons with movement signs Instead of icons of units on the map, arrows indicating the direction of movement of the unit are displayed.
Show the Units tab Enable/disable the Unit tab on the tab with the list of units
Geozone settings
Use addresses only Addresses will be used in reports
Use geozones as an address Geozones will be used instead of addresses in reports (if unit is in their boundaries)
Add geozones to the address Geozones will be added to addresses in reports

Click the Save button to save changes.

Language

Pointing on it with a cursor, a list of available interface languages is displayed.

Language management is available in the Admin panel.

Color themes

When you roll the cursor over, a list of available color themes of the application interface is displayed:

  • Dark blue;
  • Light blue;
  • Grey;
  • Orange.

Hide main menu

When you click on the icon, the labels in the main menu will be hidden. At the same time, you can see the label of the current section, with the menu taking the following form:
